Join us as CanWIT Waterloo Region partners with the Centre for Women in Science (WinS), Wilfrid Laurier University to present Mentorship Matters, an evening focused on the benefits of mentorship and the programs that are available to youth in the Waterloo Region. Learn from the experiences of CanWIT women leaders in technology and network with representatives from mentorship programs across the Waterloo Region.

Dr. Shohini Ghose, Associate Professor, Physics & Computer Science and Director, Centre for Women in Science (WinS), Wilfrid Laurier University. WinS focuses on: attracting young women into the fields of science and math, supporting them, celebrating their contributions and addressing challenges they face in higher education and careers in science.

Sandy Graham, MMath, Lecturer, The Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC), Faculty of Mathematics, University of Waterloo UAE, offers seminars in Computer Science for Young Women. The CEMC has become Canada's largest and most recognized outreach organization for promoting and creating activities and materials in mathematics and computer science.
